GammonSite
Game Tracking allows you to calculate your performance and see your results against
a particular player.
This feature is also available offline!
You can filter the data using different criteria, such as the player name, the
match length , the opponent elo,
etc. The data is updated after each
game and you can easily add missing files (like the ones removed by the computer).
Members can even request their entire match history with a simple click.

RESULTS Tab
Performance Button:
This button will display your elo
performance for all matches currently displayed (or only a part of them,
if you have a filter applied). If you have won or lost all your games, your
performance can not be computed. This performance reflects the elo you would
reach if you keep on getting the same kind of results. The order the games
are played, or your elo at the time of the match does not enter in the
calculation.
Example: If you had played 100- 3 points matches in backgammon,
with opponents whose average elo is 1641, and have won 61 matches and lost 39,
your performance is 1868 elo. If the opponents average would have been 1541,
your performance would have been 1768.
Filter by length:
In backgammon the length is defined as the match
length . For other games, it's the match length in minutes. Filtering
by length allows you to see if your performance in short matches are better or
worse than in long ones. In Backgammon, if your performance is better on
short matches, it usually means that the cube is a weakness for you.
Filter by date: Allows you to check if your
skill level is
increasing. You have to fill at least one of the fields. If the 1st field is
blank, it will filter all the games until the date entered in the 2nd field.
Filter by Player name: Allows you to see your result against
a particular player. ATTENTION: if the Player Name filter is on, the
performance is a relative performance comparing to this player. The
actual elo of the player is not taken into account in the computation of the
performance (it is assumed the player skill did not change).
Format
of the fields:
-
Entering "extreme" will display all games with
player whose name starts with "extreme"
-
Entering "extreme;
" with a semicolon will display
only the games with "extreme"
-
If you put a # as 1st character,
it EXCLUDES the player : i.e. #XG will display all games played except
the ones with XG.

Filter by Elo: In theory,
the performance against player of different skill level should be same. Though some players play a bit differently
depending on the skill level of their opponent. This factor could affect the
overall performance.
No White/No Black:
(except backgammon) allows you to see if you are playing better with the white
piece or the black ones
ANALYZE Tab
